So I hadn’t been having the best week. I didn’t get into the show, different things were going wrong. It wasn’t terrible, but I was a little bummed out. Then I got an email from one of my best friends who lives in America, who I haven’t properly spoken to in 6 months. It made my week.
Just to see the email made me smile, let alone reading it and now we’re talking again. When I moved away, I was nearly 9 years old, and I new I wasn’t going to be seeing her for a couple of years at least. I’ve only seen her three times since we moved away almost seven years ago. Plus, I just found out that I won’t be going to see her next year because it’s too expensive.
But then, I remembered all the emails, and facebook and everything. And even though we can’t speak to each other face to face, and we can’t really speak on the phone because of the time difference, we’ve managed to stay so close, and whenever I think of that, it makes me smile.
If you’re reading this, I miss you. And I can’t wait until I can finally make it over there to see you again.
