Those people in Japan are so helpless, and with this added danger of the nuclear power plant situation, nothing seems to be going right. The sheer number of people who ave already died, and the hundreds of people who still could is just terrible. To anyone who has loved ones in Japan, I sincerly hope they are okay. It’s hard when there’s no one to blame, and it just happened to happen there.

And it’s unfortunate timing, right after the Christchurch earthquake. I understand that it wasn’t as severe, but now all available aid will be going to Japan and none to Christchurch. And while I also understand that they need it more right now, people in Christchurch are now going to just be left hanging, which is not a good thing either.

I don’t think I can say any more in words. Nothing can describe this. Disasters are terrible, hench they are called disasters

We just have to wait until After the Storm.

Well, I’m always happy, but I somehow seem to be happier.

I met a guy. Now we’ve only had one date, but we’ve been talking a fair bit and he’s really nice. We listen to the same music, and we both like to listen to whole albums, not just individual songs, etc. Every time I get a text from him, I smile. It just seems like it really might happen.

And I’m not someone to date someone purely for the sake of having a boyfriend and being all “luv u bebz.” I hate that sort of fake stuff.

Anyway, that is beside the point. Basically, I hope this keeps going.

Hopefully I’ll keep up my activity on here-it’s nice to have an outlet. Just somewhere I can write, because as far as I’m aware, not many people read this anyway so it doesn’t even matter.

I hope everybody had a great New Year-I know I did . Just spending it with my family and a few friends was fine with me. I didn’t have a wild night out or anything-but who needs that?

Hopefully some good new music will come out this year-that new Coldplay album is on the forefront of my mind. Hopefully they’ll be coming out to Australia on tour pretty soon so I’m looking forward to that.

But New Year is also a time to look back. Now, I don’t want to have some cheesy rant about how important it is to reflect on your past or whatever, but there were two big things that happened to me this time last year.

1. I changed schools. For me, that was quite a huge thing and frankly, I’ve had enough of changing schools/houses/countries. I like change, but a bit of stability would be nice.

2. Jamboree. I cannot describe how awesome this was. To my fellow scouts-you all know how amazing it is, and I hope you’ll get to go to a jamboree at some point. To all those non-scouts out there: get into scouting. It’s the best thing ever.

So, we come to the end of another post-as I have run out of things to say.

Just to see the email made me smile, let alone reading it and now we’re talking again. When I moved away, I was nearly 9 years old, and I new I wasn’t going to be seeing her for a couple of years at least. I’ve only seen her three times since we moved away almost seven years ago. Plus, I just found out that I won’t be going to see her next year because it’s too expensive.

But then, I remembered all the emails, and facebook and everything. And even though we can’t speak to each other face to face, and we can’t really speak on the phone because of the time difference, we’ve managed to stay so close, and whenever I think of that, it makes me smile.

If you’re reading this, I miss you. And I can’t wait until I can finally make it over there to see you again.

Pretty bummed out, I thought I had a chance.

I guess I’ll just have to audition for a theatre company instead, and hope that I get in somewhere. I just don’t want to go another year without doing a production. It sucks.

Why should I? It’s not like I can change what anyone thinks of me; I can’t control minds, clearly. I can’t do anything about it, so why bother? It also means that I’m generally not embarrassed by things. You can only be embarrassed if you let yourself be.

So, crappyliveev or whatever your name is. Try to insult me, I dare you. What’s the worst you can do? Sorry to say this, but all you are is a coward. I’m perfectly happy to except an insult to my face. But hiding behind a screen is just a little pathetic don’t you think? When you think about it? You also aren’t very good at covering your tracks. You literally gave me your email address. Good job, the CIA will be calling you up any day now.

And the worst bit is, that fact that YOU called ME a bitch. Okay sure, I’m being a bit bitchy here, but I hadn’t been before your comment, and you went out of your way to call me a snob who sticks onto people who seem cooler, and that I have no talent. Then you told me what a bitch I am, how bad I am at blogging and asked me why I bother in life.

Firstly, I have talent in lots of areas. Just because you don’t like my blog, doesn’t mean I’m not talented. Maybe entertaining isn’t my strong point. Who cares? This blog is meant to let feelings and ideas out. I don’t plan to become a stand-up comedian any time soon. Secondly, how do I stick on to people? And how would you know? Thirdly, I will answer your question. So, why do I bother in life? Because I am a truly happy person. I love my family and my friends, I love my school and my teachers are great. I’ve got things I’m working towards and I’m genuinely making something of my life. I love my life, and I’m lucky to be privelaged enough to. I’m happy, and you can’t change that. Besides, no one made you read or comment on this blog. It’s your own fault, not mine.

So why did you call me a bitch? Other than this post, I’ve only made two others. Not very much room to be bitchy is it? Just take a look at yourself for a moment.

A sad thing in itself. It’s a hard emotion to deal with, and yet one of the most commonly felt. If you were asked to think of the first emotion to come to your head, after happiness, you would say sadness. Or at least that’s been my experience of it. Not just because it’s the opposite to happiness either, it’s an emotion that everyone can relate to.

Today we had to farewell another year of gorgeous girls from our school. And it was awfully sad! They were crying which made me cry (I’m just a bit pathetic, I know), and I really don’t like the thought of not seeing them every day. It’s nice to pass people you know in the corridors and exchange smiles during the day. And sure, they’re going on to bigger and better things, but it’s still a little depressing don’t you think?

But then you have to put things into perspective. There are worse things out there. I just wanted to say that I’m really sad to see them go, and I wish them luck for the future. Is that too corny?

And I would also like to say good luck to the girls going away on trek. I am going to miss you SO much, you have no idea. 5 weeks without you is going to be awful, but I can’t wait to hear about it when you get back .

NOW ONTO SOMETHING HAPPIER

Because happiness is just a much nicer feeling, and I am thanking my lucky stars right now because I feel like I am generally one of the happiest people around. My life is great, and I’m grateful for it! I go to a great school, I have some of the best friends anyone could ever have, and I can’t think of anything I would change about my family. And writing about this makes me smile, because it doesn’t take much to instil happiness. And having a normal, healthy lifestyle is just enough for me.

What also makes me happy is MUSIC.

Now I didn’t want to brag so sorry if it turned out like that. I just wanted to show that every force has an equal and opposite force. For every sad thing you can find a happy thing. You don’t have to look for very long. You just have to sit yourself down and think. Think of the amazing opportunities you have that anyone would kill for.

Today was sad and happy for me, and I needed a cheesy, corny post to show it apparently. It’s interesting to see all the different emotions we can feel. The opposites that work together to create us as people.

It’s just twisted logic.

Decided to delete them. I’ve decided I will start again with this blog, and hopefully be able to keep up with it this time.

So, since I’ve last been on here, I’ve moved schools, and I’m pretty happy. I discovered these things called Dryads, and I’ve found them to be quite a spectacular phenomenon. You see, Dryads are members of Dryads house and so far, I have actually found them to be some of the coolest people alive today. I am proud to call myself one of them.

I have also discovered new music. Mumford and Sons, Yves Klein Blue, Washington and Florence and the Machine can all proudly say that they have become some of my favourites. That’s not to say that I don’t still LOVE Coldplay (SQUEE!), Green Day, the Killers, Muse, Queen, Midnight Oil, Supertramp, Musicals, etc. Too many to list now.

But seriously, Washington has become my obsession. Have you HEARD her sing? WOW. Great songwriter too. I love her lyrics and pretty much everything else about her too. Plus she has some of the mose awesome glasses I have ever seen in my life. No joke.

I have also joined a youth magazine in my area, started my Duke of Ed and my Queen’s Scout, I’ve been applying for jobs and also trying to seriously further my vocal education. It’s been busy as hell over here. Can’t wait until VCE. Yay. :/

I have also rediscovered my love of fencing. After taking too much time off for my liking, I have returned to the sport with a better attitude and I am finding it much more enjoyable. That sound a little too formal…Basically, it’s amazing. Do it or die. Literally, I will come and stab you.
